GoFundMe Account and Free Use of Adorni for Coast Guard Members

As a Coast Guard City, the City of Eureka is committed to helping our Coast Guard families during the Federal Government shutdown.

The City of Eureka will be collecting non-perishable food, gift cards and cash donations to assist Coast Guard Families.

Donations will be accepted during business hours at Eureka City Hall, City Manager’s Office or checks can be made to:

Additionally, the City of Eureka has set up a “Go Fund Me” account. Individuals can donate by following this link.

The City of Eureka recognizes that this is a difficult and stressful time for Coast Guard members and all Federal employees.

Therefore, the City invites Coast Guard members and furloughed Federal employees to utilize the Adorni facilities at no cost during the furlough. Please bring your federal ID to access.

New Reduced Rate for Seniors at the Adorni!

We are pleased to announce that the Adorni is now participating in a fitness program available to residents who are insured members covered under an AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan insured by United Healthcare Insurance Company.

The rate is $11 for residents and $13.50 for non-residents per month. Basically, AARP is paying 50% of members rates.

January Membership Special Returns!

Save BIG getting in shape in 2019!

If you’ve been putting off getting in shape until after the holidays, January is the time to literally jump back into it and save big bucks!

Adorni has the lowest family rate in the area and we’re slashing it even more!

For the month of January, 2019, the Adorni will not only waive the initiation fee BUT IN ADDITION we’re slashing our rates by 20 percent!

January Rates:

  • Adult or Family Membership: $28 for the entire family for Eureka Residents & $32 for non residents. As always, if any one adult pays the normal rate for membership, everyone in the family is included as a member! (Normally when initiation fee is included, those rates would be $70 or $75!)
  • Senior Membership: $17.60 for Eureka Residents & $21.60 for non residents (normally when initiation fee is included, those rates would be $30 or $35!)
  • Youth Membership: $12 for Eureka Residents/$16 for non-residents (normally when initiation fee is included, those rates would be $25 or $30)

All membership plans include:

  • All fitness classes* as part of membership
  • Use of all amenities and equipment
  • Use of the conference room (according to policies)
  • 20% discount on community classes
  • Free Buddy Pass to allow you to bring friends to the Adorni at no additional cost.

If you’re 65 or older, you might quality to have your health care provider cover your costs via the SilverSneakers or Silver and Fit programs.

A few things to know:

  • When your first month ends, standard rates will apply as listed above.
  • No initiation fee for as long as membership is sustained
  • No long term commitment is required; cancel without penalty
  • * Periodically, premier fitness classes might have a small surcharge.

This class is what is called a “blended learning” CPR class which means students must spend two hours on their computers on an-online class before coming in to class.

Eureka Community Services is offering a Presidents Week Break Camp for children to explore space!

Young Adventurers will learn about planets, the solar system, and experiment with science focused activities relating to our solar system.

What is Camp N.E.T.?

Eureka Community Services is excited to announce Camp N.E.T, a very popular specialized basketball camp for youth to refine their skills, learn new tricks of the game, become part of a team and have fun!

What Skill Levels is this Camp For?

Camp N.E.T. has drills that will meet all needs from beginning to next level athlete!

How is this different from any other basketball camp?

Camp N.E.T. combines high level basketball training with all of the fun and youth development you’ve come to expect from Eureka Community Services. Both recreation leaders and basketball coaches offer a fun, energetic week filled with team spirit, breakdown drills, games, competitions and a few surprises to offer a unique one of kind camp experience!

How Much Does it Cost?

Camp N.E.T. is one of the most competitive high level basketball camps in the area. The cost is $150.

Presidents’ Week Skateboard Camp

The purpose of this camp is to promote and encourage kids to be active and healthy through skating.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of skating through individual and group instruction. This camp will help kids focus on technique, skill, and safety. Each camper will be provided with elbow and knee pads. Campers will need to provide their own skateboard and helmet.
