New! Youth Art Class Inspired by Monet

Each student will make a painting inspired by Monet’s water lillies, sculpty garden board, and ceramic water lily.

This is a new class.

Adult Beginning Ceramics Class Starts May 18

This class is an introduction to ceramics and is designed to teach students the basics of crafting handbuilt ceramic pieces, glaze application, and design.

Students will have 6 projects to choose from or may work on pieces of their own design. Open to all skill levels.

Beginning Youth Ceramics Returns May 2

Students will explore their creative side while learning the fundamentals of ceramic creation in this class focused on teaching youth the proper techniques of hand-building ceramic pieces. Projects with include a variety of techniques, including pinch pots, coil building, slabs, and more.

Music and Movement For Very Young Children Returns May 5

Come swirl and twirl in this class, where fun and movement abound for the tiniest of dancers, boys and girls from two to four years of age.

Watch your child use his or her imagination as he or she develops:

  • Motor Skills
  • Body Awareness
  • Concentration
  • Creativity

Beginning dance techniques and natural movement will add to the fun of this class, where self expression is encouraged. (Parents, make sure to stay and watch your little ones bloom.)

Two Upcycled Art Classes for Adults Return in may

Students will use materials from our native environment, recycled products, and art supplies to create upcycled works of art, functional household items, and more.

Students will create a river rock mosaic stepping stone, wind chimes, vinyl tote bags, and more.

There are two sessions; one on Fridays and one on Saturdays.

Reminder: Sign up for Classes Early to Avoid Cancellation

At Eureka Community Services, we love to provide lots of fun community classes.

If you’d like to attend a community class (or you’d like your kids to do so), it’s important to register early because some of these excellent programs may be cancelled if you wait until the last minute to register because all program need to be cost effective and cannot run if we don’t get enough participants.

Please register early to avoid disappointment.
