The City of Eureka has officially launched its new Youth Council program and selected four out of fourteen applicants for the Spring term of 2020. Applicants were between the ages of 14-17 of which all were outstanding, exemplary, and civic minded.
(From left to right in the above attached photo) Tristan Greene from Eureka High has a profound interest in history and politics, and currently volunteers at the Democratic Central Committee Office in Eureka. Stella Saba from Eureka High is interested in human rights, protecting the environment, a Teen Court leader, and wants to study law in the future. Christina Smith, also from Eureka High is a cross country runner that loves exploring Eureka’s outdoors and is involved in several clubs at school.
