Join the City of Eureka, STIL Humboldt, and PacOut Green Team for the bi-monthly Trash Bash!

This waterfront cleanup will take place on April 1st, from 9am-10:30am. We will be working at the foot of Vigo St by MOD Pizza.

Get Involved March 4

There are many ways to get involved in our community on March 4th!

Voice your opinion, beautify your neighborhood, remove invasive species, or pick up trash. Come to all or come to what fits your interest best! The City of Eureka is glad for all of our community members’ unique contributions!

• Join the City of Eureka for a Volunteer Work Day at Cooper Gulch Park from 9am to 12pm!
  We will be removing invasive species and picking up litter from Cooper Gulch Park. There will be free pizza for those who attend!
  
• Join the City of Eureka to help beautify Old Town from 11:30am to 1pm!
  We will be working on weeding, laying mulch, and planting native species on the flower beds that line Old Town’s streets.
  
• Attend the City of Eureka’s Community Health Town Hall from 2pm to 4:30pm!
  Doors open at 1:30pm for refreshments! This is the first of a quarterly series of events being held at City Hall to discuss mental health, homelessness, and substance abuse in a safe, constructive, and solutions-oriented environment with a panel of experienced mental health experts who live and work within our community.

Details:

• We will meet at the Bayshore Mall North Parking Lot (To get to this location turn right at Applebee’s onto Bayshore Way. Then take the next right when you get to the mall parking lots to enter the Bayshore Mall North Parking lot!)

• The cleanup will take place from 9am-10:30am.
• Join us at 8:45am for a complimentary bagel from Los Bagels before we get started
• We always end with a group photo and raffle!
• When you arrive, you will need to sign in and get supplies.

• The cleanup will take place from 9am-10:30am.

• McDonald’s meal cards will be given to all volunteers.
• We always end with a group photo and raffle!
• When you arrive, you will need to sign in and get supplies.

Join the City of Eureka and PacOut Green Team for our bi-monthly Trash Bashes with special COVID-19 precautions.

We need your help to keep this garbage out of Humboldt Bay!

Details:

• Meet at @ Vigo St. to sign in and get supplies. (This is adjacent to the new “Pacific Plaza” where In-N-Out, Chiptole, and Mod Pizza are located.)
• This event is family-friendly.
• We will be focusing on the greenbelt along the Waterfront Trail and the 101 corridor.
• The cleanup will take place from 9am-10:30am.
• We always end with a group photo and raffle!

  home of In ‘n’ Out, Chipotle, and Mod Pizza)

Eureka Trash Bash Feb 22

Spend 90 minutes beautifying Eureka at a New Location

Join us for another Trash Bash on Saturday, February 22.

Spend 90 minutes helping beautify Eureka!

NEW LOCATION: We will meet at 8:45am at the Samoa Bridge Boat Launch located under the Samoa Bridge on Waterfront Dr. in Eureka (right next to Halvorsen Park)

8:45 am we will have bagels compliments of Los Bagels. Cleanup will begin promptly at 9am.

All supplies will be provided for the cleanup and it is family friendly! Please bring comfortable clothing and a reusable water bottle.

We always end with a group photo and raffle!
