We are conducting a costume drive at the Adorni Center and we need your help.

• Please help us support our community with child-appropriate costume donations.*
• Costumes will be given to local families in need.
  *no additional ninja costumes are needed at this time

Help support a Bee-Themed Mural at Clara May Berry Park

It’s a community fundraiser for a youth mural at Clara May Berry Park.

You can treat yourself to dinner and drinks at The Carter House Inn ($100 value)

Join us, as we build the community through art.  

How to Enter:

• Buy your ticket(s) at the Adorni Center (1011 Waterfront Dr.) between now and Sept. 30^th (You can buy (1) ticket for $5 or (5) tickets for $20. The more you enter, the greater chance of winning.
• You can also enter online through Empower Eureka on the Parks, Playgrounds, and Trails page. (Please be sure to leave your name and phone number on the payment page.) Click here (and go to the Parks, Trails, and Playgrounds section) to donate online.
• Winner will be called on Sept. 30^th and gift certificate will be available to pick up at the Adorni Center.

This update reflects the addition of a skate ramp and a roller derby track being added to the event.

Make sure to be at the live mural painting at the Youth Mural Festival as we empower youth to express themselves through public art.

Deadline to sign up is Sept 23. (Extended date as of 9/15)

If you’re 16 and under:

• Sign up and get paired with an adult artist and create a public mural!
• Learn muralist techniques and contribute to public art

New! Growing Gardeners Class for Kids starts Sep 21

Encourage your budding naturalist to look closer at the natural world and start his or her own garden.

For 6 weeks, students will learn how to plan and keep a garden and explore creative ways to garden. Topics covered will include local plant identification, soil science, native versus introduced species, and benefits of gardening.

Baller Basics basketball basics class for kids starts Sep 16

Is your little one excited to dribble and shoot?

This class is the perfect environment for your little one to learn the very basic fundamentals of basketball, including ball handling and shooting.

Emphasis will be on fun and games with some focus on basic ball handling, increased hand-eye coordination, self-confidence and teamwork.
