From 12 noon, Red Panda fans can enjoy Red Panda-themed activities for all ages, including a coloring competition (sponsored by the Times Standard), mask making, red panda feedings and paw painting demonstrations, keeper talks, trivia and a raffle.
All proceeds will go to the Red Panda Network.

This update changes the dates to start on Monday 9/19 from 9/12.
Through IMPROV theater games and basic IMPROV acting techniques, your child will gain acting, storytelling and comedy skills.
Family and friends are welcome to watch the final performance.
Location: Play Room @ John Ryan Youth Center 1653 J Street Eureka CA 95501.
Cost for either class is $45.00 for Eureka residents and $46.00 for non residents.

The Adorni Center offers monthly CPR/First-Aid Training Certification Courses the third Saturday of each month – except this month. Due to #familyfreeday on September 17, the CPR class for September 2016 has been moved to the following Saturday (9/24).

It will be Saturday, September 17th from 10am – 1pm at 2100 J Street Eureka, to help students and families learn to bicycle safely. A skills course will give students the opportunity to improve their cycling skills and practice riding in a straight line, making turns, and using hand signals. Loaner bicycles and free helmets will be available to those who do not bring their own, however participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycles and helmets and can receive additional raffle tickets and a free professional bicycle safety check for doing so.
