Sequoia Park Zoo & Foundation is collaborating with North Coast Repertory Theatre (NCRT) and Flying Changes to present Little Red Attitude, a hilarious portrayal of a little red riding hood rehearsal gone awry.
The play will be performed twice; once at NCRT on Saturday, August 20 and at Sequoia Park Zoo main lawn on Sunday, August 21.
Little Red Attitude, written and directed by Scott Malcolm will be performed by young actors and features a group of youngsters gathered to rehearse Little Red Riding Hood who soon become bored with the story and want to bring in other characters and punch up their individual parts. What follows is a hilarious, rollicking parade of characters from other fairy tales, (Snow White, Prince Charming, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin and more). A menagerie of animals on an adventure away from the Sequoia Park Zoo finds its way into the story as well.
All of this is woven intricately into the original story and is a steady source of fun and laughter for the audience.
