We are changing our team assignment process this season.
This season, coaches will draft their own teams instead of our staff putting the teams together. Due to this we are going to have to rearrange some of the times for the drills during team assignments to allow for a coaches meeting to explain the draft to them and then to also draft their teams.
This will not affect the boys from the 3rd-8th grade divisions as their times will stay the same however it will affect:
The City
wants you involved the upcoming Zero Waste Action planning process! Residents,
non-residents that work here, and frequent visitors are invited to participate via the November 2019 baseline survey.
In a letter to the community, Mayor Susan Seaman says:
“The City’s Zero Waste Action Plan will be a call to action for Eureka citizens and businesses to reduce our community’s waste, currently amounting to six pounds per per person per day…I urge you to join the City of Eureka as we shift our approach to sustainable materials management and Zero Waste prevention strategies by refusing, reducing, reusing, and recycling… Innovative waste reduction initiatives will become a point of pride for Eureka. Individual and business actions can have a measurable impact and as a community, we can make a real difference.”

UPLIFT Eureka is seeking community volunteers for the Co-Pilot Program.
The Co-Pilot Program pairs houseless individuals with a volunteer Co-Pilot (that’s you!) in a one-on-one setting to help them connect to community resources and to work towards goals.
For more information or questions about the Co-Pilot Program, please call 707-441-4240 or visit empowereureka.org to complete an interest form.
