Shape Eureka’s Future!

On November 28th at 6pm, the City will be hosting an interactive public workshop at the Wharfinger.  It will be fun and you can contribute to the vision of Eureka’s future.  You will also have the chance to walk on the largest map of Eureka ever made.  Food will be provided.  See attached for details.

We want to pack the room with people that care about Eureka’s future, so please help spread the word.

If you live in Eureka, work in Eureka, own property in the City, or care about the City in any way, there will be a presentation, interactive stations, and planners providing one-on-one property consultations with GIS maps on November 28, 2017 from 6-8PM at the Wharfinger Building.

Have Fun Even When it’s Raining: go Roller Skating!

Come to the Eureka Muni on Saturday nights and have fun roller skating.

NEW Total Workout Class comes to the Adorni

If you’re looking to feel better, have more energy, and get or get in shape – this is for you!

Total body workout, taught by Pablo Aguilar, is a new class which takes elements from CORE DE FORCE  which is a MMA-inspired workout. Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai combinations are mixed in with fat-blasting cardio and bodyweight moves to help you zero in on stubborn belly fat and carve allover. Strength and Conditioning using weights, kettlebells, bodyweight as well as balance and stability drills are also part of the focus for overall fitness.

  • Mondays and Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30
  • Any fitness level

We will be honoring all the men and women who have selflessly served our country at the Adorni Center on Veterans Day.

November and December CPR Classes

This class is what is called a “blended learning” CPR class which means students must spend two hours on their computers on an-online class before coming in to class for what will now only be two hours, instead of all day and the course will be offered twice on the third Saturday of each month instead of just once.

Update: Tai Chi Moves to Sundays Starting Nov 5

As of the first week in November, our Tai Chi class will be moving from Saturdays to Sundays.

It will also move from its current time, with the class moving to 10-11AM.

Note: the class will continue to be on Saturdays from 5-6PM this Saturday and next Saturday (Oct 21 and Oct 28).

Camp N.E.T. Youth Basketball Camp Returns!

What is Camp N.E.T.?

Eureka Parks & Recreation is excited to announce Camp N.E.T! A brand new specialized basketball camp for youth to refine their skills, learn new tricks of the game, become part of a team and have fun!

What Skill Levels is this Camp For?

Camp N.E.T. has drills that will meet all needs from beginning to next level athlete!

How is this different from any other basketball camp?

Camp N.E.T. combines high level basketball training with all of the fun and youth development you’ve come to expect from Eureka Parks & Recreation. Both recreation leaders and basketball coaches offer a fun, energetic week filled with team spirit, breakdown drills, games, competitions and a few surprises to offer a unique one of kind camp experience!

How Much Does it Cost?

Camp N.E.T. is one of the most competitive high level basketball camps in the area. The Thanksgiving Camp (November 20-22) is $90 for Eureka residents & the New Years Camp (January 2-5) is $120 for Eureka Residents. (Non residents add $5.)
