Old Town Beautification and Cleanup

Old Town Beautification is back! Join the Old Town Garden Group Saturday, June 3rd as we do some weeding and mulching of the brick planters in 2nd and I St in Old Town. We will be out there from 11:30am-1pm but you can drop in anytime! Volunteers will get a slice of pizza for their efforts, Hope to see you there!

The event is Saturday, June 3rd from 11:30am-1pm, meet at Eureka Visitor Center, 108 F St, Eureka.

Cooper Gulch Cleanup

Join the City of Eureka for a volunteer cleanup day at Cooper Gulch Park! This event goes from 9am – 11am on May 6th!

We will be removing various invasive species from Cooper Gulch. The more these invasive species are removed, the more opportunities for plants native to the area can thrive! There will also be opportunities to pick up trash around the park.

This is a great chance to help make an impact in your community and eliminate various plants that are taking over. Many hands make for light work, the more the merrier!

Old Town Gazebo Beautification

The City of Eureka will be working on beautifying the Old Town Gazebo in tandem with the Da Gou Rou Louwi’ Cultural Center on March 25th from 10am to Noon!

This is a family-friendly event; all supplies are provided.

Let’s Beautify Old Town

Join the City of Eureka and the Da gou rou louwi’ Cultural Center as we begin a series of events to beautify Old Town.

This first event is limited to cleaning up the beds around the Gazebo. There will be weed and grass pulling and, time permitting, we will lay down weed mats.

The long term vision is to plant native species and have it be an interactive area for locals and tourist to enjoy. Come join the City of Eureka and Wiyot Tribe as we beautify the heart of Old Town.
