Toning and Strength Class for Seniors Starts Tonight!

A new class for seniors, “Muscle Boom” is coming to the Adorni starting tonight.

Muscle Boom incorporates athletic-based exercises that improve upper body conditioning. You’ll move through several “blocks,” which are groups of exercises that focus on different muscle groups. The focus of this class is on toning muscles and building overall strength.

Call to Artists for Humboldt BeeFest

Humboldt Bee Fest is May 4th at the Adorni Center and we will be hosting another art contest!

This Sixth Annual Juried Art Competition is now accepting entries.

This year’s theme is “Everything is Connected” and is open to your personal interpretation. Please submit on paper or canvas, up to 40”x40”, and ready to hang.

Second Tai Chi Class Starts March 7

We are adding a new Tai-Chi fitness class starting March 7.

The exercises emphasize continuous flowing movements that unite the body, breath and mind. There is a focus on specific movements from the Simplified 24 Tai Chi form.

Benefits include increased flexibility, leg strength and balance, as well as the effects of meditation such as a reduction in stress and anxiety.

All Age Acting Class Starts March 7

Discover basic acting skills in a friendly and exciting weekly course.

Acquire strong auditioning techniques in monologue and dialogue forms. Students will strengthen their skills in voice projection, enunciation, and will learn several short monologues and short acts.

This class is for students ages 10 and up.
