FREE EVENT! Join us for the 8th annual Get Out and Play Day! There will be adult and kid friendly activities taking place all over Eureka. And the best part… All activities are FREE!

FREE rides on Madaket on Get Out and Play Day

Join us at The Madaket for free rides at 11am, 11:30am and noon for all ages! Enjoy this Humboldt Bay Tradition!

U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Viewing

Every year, the USDA Forest Service selects one of its 154 national forests to provide a tree to appear on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol building for the holiday season.

The Six Rivers National Forest in partnership with nonprofit partner Choose Outdoors will bring this special gift from California to Washington, D.C. for the 2021 holiday season. The Tree will make a special appearance in Eureka on Friday, October 29th from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm in the gravel parking lot adjacent to Madaket Plaza.

Hot cocoa and cider will be served. Homemade ornament kits will be given to take home.

Kids ride free with a paying adult on #gopd2019 July 27, 2019

Join us for another year of free kids (12 and under) rides on the Madaket with a paying adult. Tour times will be at 1:30, 2:30, and 4:00!

And NEW and FREE 20 minute rides for all ages at 11:30 am and 12:00 pm!
