The City of Eureka is launching a brand-new Neighborhood Beautification Program and we need your help!
We are returning to W. Wabash to build on our efforts from our May 1st event. This time, it will be on June 26. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Want to help contribute to a stronger and more beautiful neighborhood? Then come join us! This event will focus on the West Wabash neighborhood. We’ll meet at Express Personnel at 14 West Wabash Street.

We need your help to keep this garbage out of Humboldt Bay!
Details:
- Meet at @ Vigo St. to sign in and get supplies. (This is adjacent to the new “Pacific Plaza” where In-N-Out, Chiptole, and Mod Pizza are located.)
- This event is family-friendly.
- We will be focusing on the greenbelt along the Waterfront Trail and the 101 corridor.
- The cleanup will take place from 9am-10:30am.
- We always end with a group photo and raffle!

COVID-19 POLICIES
- We will have sanitizer on site for all our volunteers.
- You must have a mask to participate in our cleanups. Wearing a mask is required at the beginning and end of our cleanups. Masks are optional during the cleanup as long as you can socially distance yourself from other people.
- We encourage all cleanup volunteers to bring their own gloves, pickers, and buckets. However, we will provide gloves, pickers, and buckets for volunteers that need them.
- We will be washing ALL gloves and vests after each cleanup and SANITIZING all pickers, buckets, pens, tables, etc. after each cleanup.
- If any volunteers have had COVID-19 symptoms we ask they do not participate in any PacOut Green Team cleanups for 14 days.

Save the date and please join us for the virtual Humboldt Trails Summit on Saturday, June 5th, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Zoom and Access Humboldt, channel 8, or Facebook Live.
This year’s theme is “Enjoy and Engage” and we will be highlighting places for you to get out and enjoy trails as well as ways to engage in efforts to expand our regional trail system.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the progress that is being made on local trail projects and get an update from State Senator Mike McGuire on the recent progress being made to realize the vision of the Great Redwood Trail. Hank Seeman, Deputy Director, Environmental Services, Humboldt County Public Works Department, will provide updates on the Humboldt Bay Trail, the McKay Community Forest, and other developments in Humboldt County. On-location videos will connect you with ongoing work to develop trails and inspire you to engage with other trail enthusiasts in supporting visionary efforts to connect communities through trails.

Summer Day Camps return June 14 through August 6!
They will include Camp Cooper (application & referral base only) and Camp Muni.
All Covid protocols are in place; temperature checks, masks, distancing. Free lunch will be provided for both camps by Eureka City Schools.
Both camps will operate Monday-Friday 8:00am-5pm and are for youth ages 5-12 years. Camp Muni will be $120/week for Eureka residents and $130/week for non-residents.
