Community Services is excited to share family-friendly, Halloween-in-Quarantine events, and activities! While the festivities may look a little different this year, the fun (and candy!) is the same. Both City events have been approved by the Humboldt County Department of Public Health.

Carson Park Project comes to Henderson Center
We have a fabulous group of volunteers fundraising to improve Carson Park.
The Carson Park Project will be tabling at the Henderson Center Trick or Treat and handing out goodies for the trick or treaters! They will be there from Noon to 2PM on Saturday, October 26.

By coming out to Henderson Center on 10/26 and supporting businesses with the above flyer in their window, you’ll be supporting our cause as well. A portion of whatever you spend that night will be coming back to us!

Help Underprivileged Kids Have a Better Halloween
There are over 1,000 children in Humboldt County who are classified as either homeless or in foster care services who could use a costume for Halloween this year.
The Community Access Project for Eureka (C.A.P.E.) and Eureka Community Services are asking for donations of new or gently used Halloween costumes for children whose families cannot afford them on their own.
Donated costumes will be given to families referred by their case/social worker.
Costumes can be dropped off at the Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Dr., Eureka, Monday – Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday 9am-4pm.

Halloween Candy Drive
Help us fill the bags of all of the little ghost and goblins bags with candy this Halloween.
On Saturday October 26th, Eureka Community Services will host our annual Halloween Carnival at Sequoia Park. This FREE event is a fun Halloween tradition. If you would like to help, please donate a bag of candy at the Adorni Community and Recreation Center. (Individually wrapped candy only please.)

Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy a day of fun with friends and family. We will have activities for all ages.
Come dance through the haunted cake walk, get your face painted, or try your hand at one of our classic carnival games

- Please help us support our community with child-appropriate costume donations.*
- Costumes will be given to local families in need.
*no additional ninja costumes are needed at this time

This unique fundraiser for the City of Eureka Community Services Department’s C.A.P.E. Program will have Halloween classics like a costume contest (with prizes!), horror movie trivia, a dance off, DJ & dancing, games and more! You’ll be having fun and helping make positive social changes in our community by supporting C.A.P.E.
Beer for sale provided by Six Rivers Brewery. This is a 21 & up event.
