Summer Camp is for Everyone

Free and Reduced Price Camps for Youth!

Make this a summer your kids will always remember! Camp registration is open for City of Eureka summer camps! Whatever your kids’ interests, they’ll have fun in the north coast sun with all sorts of creative and exciting activities. Summer camp is a valuable experience for all children, which is why Eureka Community Services has multiple options to make our summer programs accessible to families of all backgrounds.

FREE

Camp Cooper is a free summer camp for kids ages 5-12! From June 20-August 11 kids will participate in enriching environmental education activities learning about the natural world near and far! With limited space, there is an application process for Camp Cooper based on three different criteria to qualify: receipt of public assistance, income eligibility, and special hardship circumstances. If accepted, a space will be secured for the entire summer.

REDUCED PRICE

We accept Changing Tides and offer 50% fee reduction scholarships to qualifying families while available for our other fee-based summer programs: Camp ALL Stars, Camp Sequoia, and Leaders-In-Training. To utilize these programs, you must apply in person at the Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Dr., Eureka. Join us for a ribbon cutting along with fabulous activities with the Humboldt County Library.

We will have children’s activities including crafts and storytelling! Snacks and refreshments will be served.

Toning and Strength Class for Seniors Starts Tonight!

A new class for seniors, “Muscle Boom” is coming to the Adorni starting tonight.

Muscle Boom incorporates athletic-based exercises that improve upper body conditioning. You’ll move through several “blocks,” which are groups of exercises that focus on different muscle groups. The focus of this class is on toning muscles and building overall strength.
