Come join us for a free screening of the brand new documentary “Wasted” on November 17
This documentary aims to change the way people buy, cook, recycle, and eat food. Through the eyes of chef-heroes like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how the world’s most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. Wasted! shows us how each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century.
Got a Compost Pile?
E.C.O. Eureka wants to connect food waste to farms! Food waste is still a valuable material that can be turned into nutrient rich compost or fed to animals. Instead of trashing this, we are looking for farms and gardens who would be willing to feed it their animals or to compost. Don’t worry- you get final say about what food and from where!
Please call 707-441-4206 if you are interested in free food waste. Continue reading Free to Local Farms and Gardens
