Help us fill the bags of all of the little ghost and goblins bags with candy this Halloween.
On Saturday October 26th, Eureka Community Services will host our annual Halloween Carnival at Sequoia Park. This FREE event is a fun Halloween tradition. If you would like to help, please donate a bag of candy at the Adorni Community and Recreation Center. (Individually wrapped candy only please.)
Coats for the Cold is a local drive to collect warm coats and jackets for our community.
Please bring new or lightly used coats and jackets for adults and children to the Adorni Center. There is a bin in the lobby you can deposit them in. Your donation will help keep those in need warm this winter.
For more information contact Robert Lohn at 707-616-6973 or email@example.com
Coats can be donated through February, 2018
We are looking for standard size shoeboxes and large paper grocery bags for our “Outside the Box” program.
What is the “Outside the Box” program?
Outside the Box is an after school program that takes place at the Sequoia Park Zoo. It meets M-F and students from four different elementary schools attend, it serves students ages 5-11 years old.
All items can be dropped off at the Adorni until Wednesday, Dec 13.
Eureka Parks and Recreation – with extremely generous support from the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka who has provided funds – is able to help children from all income levels attend summer camp in Eureka via the newly founded Breakfast Club.
Because of all they have done, the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka has been named as the premier inductee to the Eureka League of Heroes for the Community Access Project of Eureka (C.A.P.E.)
This video explains the program.
