Winter Holiday Gift Program

The Community Access Project for Eureka (C.A.P.E.) is organizing a Winter Holiday Gift Program for local children who reside at the Eureka Rescue Mission Women’s Shelter and The Serenity Inn as well as children served by the Betty Chinn Homeless Foundation.

C.A.P.E. staff, along with Santa Clause & his elf, will be delivering gifts to the children as a special holiday treat.

C.A.P.E. would greatly appreciate monetary donations to help ensure every child receives a holiday gift! You can donate online by visiting www.eurekaheroes.org and click “donate” in the top right corner. Or you can mail a check to Attn: CAPE 531 K St. Eureka, CA 95501. Please make the check out to the “CAPE Fund”. No matter how big or small of a donation, your gift will help bring alive the holiday spirit for our local children.

Donate to Coats for the Cold

Coats for cold drop off boxCoats for the Cold is a local drive to collect warm coats and jackets for our community.

Last year’s coat drive was our largest yet! We collected over 500 now coals and over 4,000 gently used coats that were laundered by Mission Linen and given to local children and adults in need. The number of donations shows what a caring community we share.

With temperatures dropping, the need for coats is as great as ever. This year we respectfully ask you to continue your support for Coats for the Cold in any way possible. Your effort truly makes a difference for our community.
