Two Little-Foot Summer Disc Golf Day Camps

What is Camp Little Foot?

Eureka Community Services is excited to offer Camp Little Foot Youth Disc Golf Camp and Tournament to promote and encourage youth to be active and healthy through disc golf.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of disc golf through individual and group instruction. This camp focuses on: rules for play and competition, course safety and etiquette, technique, and most importantly fun!
Each Camper will be provided with the necessary equipment to participate.

All Sports Camps for Kids Starts July 1

The Eureka Community Services Department is adding an all sports three-day summer camp.

Participants will learn the fundamentals in all sports such as:

  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Flag football
  • Much more

The purpose of this camp is to promote healthy outdoor activity and to build good communication and teamwork skills.

All Sports Camps for Kids Starts Aug 13

Eureka Recreation is offering a half-day ALL SPORTS CAMP the last week of the summer!

Kids can get the rest of their summer energy out with games like:

  • Kickball
  • Soccer
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Flag Football, and more!

This camp is only $75 and runs from 12:00-5:00pm.

Disc Golf Day Camp and Tournament Starts August 13

This year the City of Eureka and Par Infinity will be hosting the inaugural Littlefoot Disc Golf Youth Day Camp and Tournament.

The purpose is to promote and encourage kids to be active and healthy through disc golf. Campers will learn the fundamentals of disc golf through individual and group instruction.

The program focuses on: rules for play and competition, course safety and etiquette, technique, and most importantly fun! Each camper will be provided with the necessary equipment to participate, so no one is left out.

This update reflects the fact that Camp Cooper registration is now open through Friday, May 26.

Applications for this free day camp are being accepted now through May 26.

FREE!For over 25 years, the City of Eureka has been proud to provide a free summer day camp for the community members in need. Now, thanks to a grant from California State Parks, Eureka Parks & Recreation has been able to expand its Camp Cooper program into an 8-hour environmental education day camp.

This camp is designed to be a resource for low-income and disadvantaged youth and their families.

Due to limited spaces in this program,  Eureka Parks & Recreation has created a competitive application process for families based on level of need that will secure them a spot for the entire summer.

Details:

  • Camp runs June 19 through August 11
  • Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
  • Ages 5-12
  • Deadline to pick up application is May 26

Details for qualifications and criteria each can be found in the application which can be picked up at the Adorni Center (1011 Waterfront Drive in Eureka) and will be accepted through April 30th, 2017. Families will be made aware if they have been chosen to have a secured spot in Camp Cooper by Friday, May 12th
