We’re very happy & enthused to announce that our annual compost giveaway will happen again in 2022. This year it’s entitled, The 3rd Annual Spring Garden Giveaway, since it’s evolved into so much more than giving out compost.
It’s Spring and that means it’s time to declare your food independence by kicking off your garden! Join the City of Eureka, Recology, and Cooperation Humboldt as we join forces to ensure everyone has access to nutritional food and is empowered to grow their own!
We are offering free compost to help kick start your veggie garden this Spring. All you need to do is show up with a shovel and container and take what you need. Compost is a nutritional amendment that helps supplement your soil so plants have all the nutrients they need to grow yummy fruits and vegetables.
