Official Launch of ABC Traveling Library August 19

The ABC (Accessible Books from CAPE) Traveling Library is a new program that
brings books directly to adults, children and families in need who experience
barriers to be able to visit a traditional library.

A book drive was started in April and already over 2,000 have been generously donated by the community.

2nd Session of Camp N.E.T. Youth Basketball Camp Added

We’re offering another week of Camp N.E.T. July 31st – August 4th.

What is Camp N.E.T.?

Eureka Parks & Recreation is excited to announce Camp N.E.T! A brand new specialized basketball camp for youth to refine their skills, learn new tricks of the game, become part of a team and have fun!

What Skill Levels is this Camp For?

Camp N.E.T. has drills that will meet all needs from beginning to next level athlete!

How is this different from any other basketball camp?

Camp N.E.T. combines high level basketball training with all of the fun and youth development you’ve come to expect from Eureka Parks & Recreation. Both recreation leaders and basketball coaches offer a fun, energetic week filled with team spirit, breakdown drills, games, competitions and a few surprises to offer a unique one of kind camp experience!

How Much Does it Cost?

Camp N.E.T. is one of the most competitive high level basketball camps in the area. With 40 hours of high level training & high level fun at only $150 for the week!

Take the family on an interactive history lesson of Old Town

FREE!The city of Eureka’s Outdoor Recreation Program, Explore Eureka, in partnership with the Clarke Museum is launching weekly “Historical Walking Tours” in Old Town Eureka beginning Saturday, July 8.

The tours offer an interactive history lesson and are designed to be fun for the whole family. Tours take you up close and personal with the buildings and history of Old Town.
