For the month of December, that artist is Mary Ann Testagrossa, who will be displaying her show, “Felines and Florals,” a collection of beautiful linocut prints.

Canvas Kids Basic Artwork for Kids Starts Nov 14

In this class your child will discover the process of painting, composition and having fun while producing their very own pieces of art.

Our instructors will introduce your child to basic art skills, and gives them opportunity to grow as young artists.

Help support a Bee-Themed Mural at Clara May Berry Park

It’s a community fundraiser for a youth mural at Clara May Berry Park.

You can treat yourself to dinner and drinks at The Carter House Inn ($100 value)

Join us, as we build the community through art.  

How to Enter:

• Buy your ticket(s) at the Adorni Center (1011 Waterfront Dr.) between now and Sept. 30^th (You can buy (1) ticket for $5 or (5) tickets for $20. The more you enter, the greater chance of winning.
• You can also enter online through Empower Eureka on the Parks, Playgrounds, and Trails page. (Please be sure to leave your name and phone number on the payment page.) Click here (and go to the Parks, Trails, and Playgrounds section) to donate online.
• Winner will be called on Sept. 30^th and gift certificate will be available to pick up at the Adorni Center.

This update reflects the addition of a skate ramp and a roller derby track being added to the event.

Make sure to be at the live mural painting at the Youth Mural Festival as we empower youth to express themselves through public art.

Humboldt Bee Fest is May 4^th at the Adorni Center and we will be hosting another art contest!

This Sixth Annual Juried Art Competition is now accepting entries.

This year’s theme is “Everything is Connected” and is open to your personal interpretation. Please submit on paper or canvas, up to 40”x40”, and ready to hang.

Youth Art Class Starts Nov 7

Art is powerful.

It sends messages, invokes feelings and thought, and enhances the world in many ways. Now youth can learn All About Art while tapping into their creative side and discovering self expression. This new fun four week class will cover various mediums that bring art to life, including drawing, painting, pastels and collage.
