NEW! Family Ceramics Class

new-143080_640Finding time to spend with the family can be difficult, which is why Eureka Recreation is providing this 6-week long session of Family Ceramics to encourage families to get in some quality time and create art together. This class will focus on creating several pieces to take home, including bowls, cups, sculptures and “family tree” hand impressions.

Class fee includes up to two adults and two children with a $5 fee per additional family member.

Camp Ryan Summer Day Camp for Ages 5-12

Camp Ryan is an unforgettable summer camp program for youth ages 5-12. 

This eight week educational and recreation program is designed to provide a fun, safe and nurturing environment brimming with a variety of activities including games, sports, arts and crafts, performing arts, scientific discovery, special guest speakers and field trips.

All activities are supervised by dynamic and highly qualified City of Eureka Recreation Staff.  Children are checked in and out daily and are not permitted to leave without prior parental consent.

All sessions are one week long and campers can be registered for 1/2 day or full day sessions.

What is E.C.O. Eureka?

E.C.O. Eureka is a new branch of The City of Eureka’s environmental program that just went live online with their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ecoeureka/) where you can follow them and watch them grow.

Their mission statement is “E.C.O. Eureka seeks to become a hub of environmental and conservation resources that enhances the quality of life for the people of Eureka while acting as a driving force for environmental stewardship within our community.”
