Halloween Costume Giveaway Oct 14

There are over 1,000 children in Humboldt County who are classified as either homeless or in foster care services who could use a costume for Halloween this year.

Eureka Parks and Recreation department is asking for donations of new or gently used Halloween costumes for children whose families cannot afford them on their own. They are looking for appropriate themed costumes (nothing sexual or violent in nature please) for children up to 17 years old. Each year, we are especially in need of boy and girl costumes age 8-12.

Parks & Recreation is accepting costumes up to November 10th (to get ahead of next Halloween).

Please bring costumes to the Adorni Community and Recreation Center at 1011 Waterfront between now and November 10th.  For questions, please call 707.441.4374.
