Pick up your GOPD Passports Starting July 5!

We know we’ve been keeping you busy with all the events for Get Out and Play day – and there are more on the way!

So, to keep you up to speed, look for the #gopd2018 Passport coming to many local outlets by July 5. With your FREE passport, you’ll have everything you need to make sure you eligible to win prizes and you’ll know where everything is happening and at what time.

Old Town Walking Tours Begin in July

Take the family on an interactive history lesson of Old Town

FREE!The city of Eureka’s Outdoor Recreation Program, Explore Eureka, in partnership with the Clarke Museum, is presenting weekly “Historical Walking Tours” in Old Town Eureka beginning July 7th and running every Saturday until the last weekend of August – including on Get Out and Play Day (#gop2018)

The tours offer an interactive history lesson and are designed to be fun for the whole family. Tours take you up close and personal with the buildings and history of Old Town.

Attend as many events as you’d like. Each time you’re at an event, take a photo or a selfie of you and your friends or family having fun. Then post it to Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with hashtag #gopd2017.

We’ll draw one entry and that lucky person will win:

One of the biggest summer events of the year is coming to Eureka – and YOU can help make it even better!
