Take the family on an interactive history lesson of Old Town
The city of Eureka’s Outdoor Recreation Program, Explore Eureka, in partnership with the Clarke Museum is continuing to conduct weekly “Historical Walking Tours” in Old Town Eureka each Saturday at 2:00 through August, 2016. Please show up at 1:45 to register. If you choose, you can show up at 1:30 and also be treated to a tour of the Clarke Museum.

2 Great Fitness Activities are part of “fitness in the park” on July 30, 2016
This year, Zumba is the park is joined for the first time ever by our new Body Combat program; all as part of Get Out and Play Day. Both events will take place Sequoia Park featuring top certified instructors.
Unfortunately, our Yoga instructor could not make it, so Yoga in the Park will NOT take place. Yoga classes still continue per schedule at the Adorni however.

Children 12 and under can play for free all day on #GOPD2016 on July 30, 2016 at the Eureka Golf course when accompanied by a paying adult.
Their hours that day are 6:30 AM to 8PM.

The phase A trail preview has been changed to an interpretive walk along the Hikshari’ Trail.
Before construction begins on phase A of the new trail, experience the beauty found alongside the current existing 1.5 mile Hikshari’ Trail. This fun, informative guided tour will included information and discussion on the migrant & vagrant bird species, Wiyot Village life and much more!
