FREE Compost on Food Independence Day

What better day to declare your food independence than on the 4th of July?

We are offering free compost to help kick start your veggie garden this summer. All you need to do is show up with a shovel and container and take what you need. Compost is a nutritional amendment that helps supplement your soil so plants have all the nutrients they need to grow yummy fruits and vegetables.

  • July 4, 2020
  • 9AM – 1PM
  • At Recology in Samoa (555 Vance Avenue)
  • NEW! There will also be a seed exchange. Bring some seeds, take some seeds.

This event is first come first served until we run out. Please bring your own shovel.

This is for residential use only – NO commercial use.

We will also be hosting a seed exchange. Bring some extra seeds to contribute and take some seeds you would love to grow!

This event is made possible due to Recology. This compost is made from food waste from Bay Area Recology customers. Plants love it and you will to!
