Donate a Concert Ticket to UPLIFT Eureka: Give the Gift of Music

A special opportunity is available to support an individual on their journey by gifting the healing benefits of live music.

Please consider sponsoring an UPLIFT participant by purchasing a ticket to donate for participants to attend a “Benefit Concert for Humboldt’s Homeless” featuring Melvin Seals and JGB, on February 29, 2020.

Whether or not you can attend this important community event, residents can help support houseless neighbors by purchasing tickets for those who might not be able to attend otherwise. To donate, please call (707-441-4248) or visit the Adorni Center (1011 Waterfront Drive) to purchase a ticket to donate. Sponsorships are also available for local businesses and organizations who would like to support this event through a monetary donation.

The concert takes place at the Eureka Municipal Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. This is an all-ages show, and food and libations will be available for purchase.

Tickets are available for $40 in advance or $45 at the door. You can purchase them for yourself or for others online at brownpapertickets.com or at The Works and Wildberries. The show is expected to sell out, so pre-sale tickets are recommended.

Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin spun his B-3 magic with the Jerry Garcia Band for 18 years and in doing so helped pioneer and define what has now become “Jam Band Music”.
