We are looking to create an interactive, creative, fun, family-oriented experience to Explore Eureka and to showcase the beauty of our 13 city parks and our new Eureka waterfront trail.
To be honest, we’re not sure what it would be like yet but the intent is to get local folks – as well as tourists – to get out on the trail and into our parks, be active, showcase so much of what Eureka has to offer – all while having a good time.
All we know for sure right now is that it will have a social media component and a brochure or map to go with it. Some of our potential ideas include:
- Photo contests
- Video contests
- Scavenger hunts
- Activity challenges
We need your help!
If you would like to be in on the very early stages of this exciting project and then to help steer it in the future, we’re looking for volunteers to attend a community meeting at the Adorni Center Conference Room on Wednesday April 10 at 5:30PM.
The meeting won’t take long but we assure you it will be engaging and fun – and you will be so appreciated.
We don’t have a lot of room so we have to limit the number of attendees. If you’re interested in attending, please take a moment and fill out this form and we’ll get back to you. (Attendance will be first come, first served. The form is merely to help us determine how many people will be there.)
