We’re awarding an “Instructor of the Month” every month at the Adorni Center.
This month, we’re pleased to give the award to Jordan Rosin.
A little about Jordan:
Jordan Rosin is a yoga teacher and physical theatre artist originally from Seattle, WA. He came to Humboldt for school from his previous home in New York City. In New York, he taught recreational gymnastics, sports, and rock climbing for children, ages 0 – 12 while running his own dance/physical theatre company. He is now two-thirds of the way towards earning his Masters of Fine Arts in Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International in Blue Lake.
Jordan got his 200hr certification in the flowing Vinyasa-style of yoga from Loom Yoga SchoolRYS in Brooklyn, NY. Drawing on his extensive physical theatre training, his yoga classes also incorporate aspects of Alexander Technique and Bartenieff Fundamentals, somatic modalities aimed at understanding the body’s innate intelligence.
Jordan teaches “Sunrise Yoga” on Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:00am – 8:15am and “Core Flow Yoga” on Mondays, 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
