2016 Youth Basketball Program Registration Begins October 5

WHO’S ELIGIBLE TO PLAY:

All full time students currently enrolled in Grades 3 through 12

DIVISIONS AVAILABLE:

• Boys: 3rd – 4th Grade; 5th – 6th Grade; 7th – 8th Grade; 9th – 10th Grade; 11th – 12th Grade
• Girls:  3rd – 4th Grade; 5th – 6th Grade; 7th – 8th Grade; 9th – 12th Grade

FEES:

• $65.00 each participant and includes a T-Shirt
• REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
• Family Discounts Available:  2 children – $55.00/each
• $5 Non-Resident Fee for each participant that lives outside Eureka City Limits Make Checks Payable to “City Of Eureka”

REGISTRATION:

Registration form and fees are accepted by mail or in person Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, at the Parks & Recreation Department Office located at the Adorni Recreation Center, 1011 Waterfront Drive, Eureka 95501

Deadline dates are as follows:

(League May Fill Up Before Deadline)

• 3rd – 4th   Grade Division – Wednesday, November 18, 2015 – 5:00 PM
• 5th – 6th   Grade Division – Wednesday, November 25, 2015 – 5:00 PM
• 7th – 8th   Grade Division – Wednesday, December 16, 2015 – 5:00 PM
• 9th – 12th Grade Division –  Wednesday, December 23, 2015 – 5:00 PM
• Deadline to apply as a coach is: November 6th

Games Begin:

• 3rd – 4th Grade – Saturday, January 9, 2016
• 5th – 6th   Grade – Saturday, January 16, 2016
• 7th – 8th Grade – Saturday, January 23, 2016
• 9th – 12th Grade – Saturday, January 30, 2016
• There will be no games on Saturday, February 20.

TEAM ASSIGNMENTS:

Participants will be placed on a team based on the Team Placement Criteria. Rosters will be handed out to coaches on the following dates:

• 3rd/4th Grade: Friday, December 11th
• 5th/6th Grade: Friday, December 18th
• 7th/8th: Friday, January 8th
• 9th-12th Grade: Friday January 15th

Team Practices

Team practices are held weekly and vary by coach and grade level.  Practice days and times are requested by the coach.  Practice start dates will begin on the following dates:

• 3rd/4th Grade: Monday, December 14th
• 5th/6th Grade: Monday, December 21st
• 7th/8th: Monday, January 11th
• 9th-12th Grade: Monday, January 18th
